This past week we visited the Stoney Creek Fall Harvest Festival for the 5th straight year. In the past, we've tried to go on one of the nicer October weekend days. This year, we went one afternoon in the middle of the week where the high that day was 80 Degrees. Of course, the temperature dropped 25 degrees the following day!!
Bennett enjoyed his first trip to the Pumpkin Patch by sleeping the entire time. He slept right through the hay ride, picking out pumpkins, and the games that followed. Camden picked out two good pumpkins for carving and then another smaller one for Bennett. He enjoyed running through the straw mazes, jumping in the hay stack, and going through the inflatable haunted house. Since we went during the weekday, the pony rides and some other activities were not running. It was a nice fall afternoon to enjoy picking out some pumpkins in our t-shirts and shorts!!
What a game! What a win!! The Colts improved to 4-3 by beating the Tennesse Titans in overtime!! Football Sundays are usually spent in the basement watching football all day, and this one was no exception. We settled into the basement just before 1pm and remained there until bedtime!! Bennett slept the entire game but woke up just in time for OT! He may have been the 'Luck'y charm for the Colts win!!! Camden was excited about the win too!
This week, Mommy & Daddy get to go to the Colts Complex for a luncheon. Hopefully there will be some good players there and we'll get to post pictures next week!!
