3 Weeks and 2 Days Old!

Last Friday, we all went out to eat with Aunt Chewy, Emma, & Ryan.  This was Bennett's first dining out experience....and not one he'll even think about remembering.  He slept the entire time!!  He continues to sleep in increments of 3-4 hours at night, only waking up to eat.

On Saturday morning, Uncle Bryan (aka Uncle No), Aunt Christy, Breyden, Logan, and Kelsey came up to visit. With the crazy schedules surrounding the three kids, and some sickness in there, this was the first time they were able to meet Bennett. Camden had a good time playing with the boys and Kelsey. They even had Rylee playing with them upstairs.

Saturday afternoon, Camden and Bennett was able to go watch Ryan's soccer game. Camden didn't have a game on Saturday, but did play on Sunday (more on that later). With Bennett being born in the middle of football/soccer season, we haven't been able to make many of the nephews football & soccer games, or Kelsey's softball games. Next year, we will be back in the grove....except next year we'll need to incorporate some High School games since Breyden will be a freshman next year! Wow...let that digest for a minute!!




 

On Sunday, Camden had a make-up soccer game from one that was rained out earlier in the season.  The Colts had a BYE this week, so there was no conflict.  Nana, Rick, Grandma Ratts, Babs, & Papa Locke all came to watch Camden play.  Of course, who was sleeping the entire time....Yup, Benny Boy!!  Camden played an excellent game.  He didn't score any goals, but had several near goals.  He dribbled the ball down the field very well.  He loved have everyone there cheering him on!  After the soccer game, Nana, Rick, and Grandma Ratts came over for a cookout.

Later in the week at nursing class, Bennett weighed in at 8lbs. 8oz...before eating!  So he is gaining weight very nicely.  He continues to be a very content baby unless you are changing his diaper or he is hungry.  And boy does he get mad!  He gets so mad he holds his breath when screaming.  Good thing it only lasts a short time! 

Next week, Bennett will be a month old!  Hard to believe!!
