Yee Haw!! Camden Goes Country!!
Camden experienced his first election day this week as
Barak Obama defeated John McCain in the US Presidential Election. H
is mommy and daddy did their civic duty and voted. Daddy was there before the polls opened, but still waited an hour and a half. Mommy went a few hours later before she was headed to work. Unfortunately, her wait was 2 hours and 45 minutes long! Ouch! And speaking of mommy's work...Baa Baa Locke stayed with Camden on Tuesday and Thursday while mommy completed her second week back to work. Camden told us he has so much fun playing with Baa Baa all day long!!
Camden is now such a ham! He loves to smile and laugh throughout the day...even laughing out loud. He is even more interactive with his toys. He grabs at his toys, and still just laughs at Funny Monkey. Funny Monkey now has to take trips with us when we go anywhere in the car. His car rides are also much improved from the months prior. He never really liked it when we were stopped at stop lights. Now, it doesn't really faze him.
On Saturday, the whole family loaded up and went shopping for Christmas Decorations. Since this will be our first Christmas in our new house, we had to get some new items. Camden is looking forward to helping out with the decorations in a few weeks. After we got home, Nana Browder came to visit. She was able to rock him to sleep for his afternoon nap. It was a quick visit, but Nana needed to see him.

Today (Sunday) was an action packed and fun-filled day. We got Camden's 3 month pictures taken as well as our family Christmas portraits. This will not be the last time most of you reading th
is blog will see our family portrait....as these will be on our holiday cards this year. Camden, once again, did absolutely amazing for his pictures. He was napping prior to the pictures, so we had to wake him up and change his outfit. He was such a trooper. And just look at his pictures...what a chunky monkey!! We also decided to add a baby picture of mommy and daddy to show just how much Camden resembles the both of us.
The picture on the left is Daddy and the picture on the right is Mommy...both of which were at their 3 month mark.
After a long afternoon getting pictures, we came home t
o watch Camden's (Mommy & Daddy's too) favorite team beat the Pittsburgh Steelers. What a game!! Go Colts!! Camden also got to visit with the Thompsons as they came over at the beginning of the game. As you will see in the picture on the right, Camden and Derek had a fun time playing with all of Camden's animal friends. Camden, however, did not feel like sharing his activity mat with Derek this time around!
