His vocabulary has grown tremendously over the past few months. He now is speaking in short sentences and phrases. He also does very well singing his ABC’s….he does know the entire alphabet, but some letters may be “combined.” J He is also very fond of the song, “Sherry, Baby.” It is required that we listen to it in the car, and he will say “More, Sherry Baby, Peeeze” every time the song is over.
Camden will be starting preschool in the coming weeks. His first day will be the Wednesday following Labor Day. His birthday was the cut-off date for this year’s enrollment, so he will be the youngest in his class. We attended the “Meet the Teachers” night at the church and we are certain we will have an entertaining Parent-Teacher conference when they come around (or when they call us … whichever occurs first). He is looking forward to “skooool” as he refers to it.
This child does not know a stranger! He is very, very social and says “Hi” to anyone (and anything) he sees. He has also been working on his manners and has become very polite…using “Peeeze and TaTa” (aka Thank You!) when asking for things. He also will say, “Sorry Mommy/Daddy” when he accidentally runs his cars into your feet. And he is very responsive when someone sneezes saying, “Bless You Mommy/Daddy/Baa Baa/Nana.”
Next on the “to-do” list is Camden’s transition into his Big-Boy bedroom. We have the bunkbeds now set up (Thanks, Uncle No!). We just need to get the Blue/White paint on the walls. Yes, Camden’s big-boy room will be a Colts-themed bedroom! It should be an interesting transition!
