It was back to reality this past week after our great vacation! Camden adjusted just fine! He has his own walker for the house now, and he just tears it up running all through the house. He does laps around the entire downstairs while laughing and talking the whole time. He will call out for Tug while chasing him in his walker!! He also loves to carry photos that are on the refridge with him in his walker. He will wheel right up to the refridge and grab a picture and carry it around the house. He is really attached to his cousin, Ryan's, picture!! With all of this "walking" and crawling, Camden is beginning to thin out a bit.
As all kids his age, Camden loves to put everything in his mouth. Not so good when he is trying to take a chunk out of the molding on the stairs!! On Saturday night, Daddy noticed Camden was being very quite (always trouble!). He turned around to see Camden gnawing on the trim of the stairs...and he bit off a piece. It was a rather large/sharp piece and he started trying to spit it back up. Daddy picked him up and took him to his Mommy (good thing there is a nurse that lives in the house!!). He worked on it for a couple of minutes, but finally the piece that he chewed off finally came up. And here we thought chewing on the books was bad!!
On Sunday, celebrated Father's Day. We had a cookout in the evening. Camden was able to play with his neighborhood friends - Kirby and Joshua. These are three boys that were all born within 8 months of each other...and live right across the street from one another. Camden also got to visit with Nana & Rick, Baa Baa & PaPa, Uncle Nun-Nun & Kristen, Derek & Cindy, John & Shelia, and Scott & Maria. It was a great time (and turnout) for a last minute, impromptu cookout!!
Have a great week...and sorry there are no pics to post -- camera's were taking a break from the 330 pictures we took on vacation!
