Moving up to the Big Boy Car Seat

It seems as if Camden has made a full recovery from last week's sickness. He was back to his normal self this week. It has been a busy week for Camden, but probably not as hectic as the upcoming week.

After reading review after review, we finally bought a new "big-boy" car seat for Camden. Mommy did a lot of research and (finally) found one that would be a good fit for Camden. Even though his infant car seat goes up to 30 lbs., Camden was "hanging" out of it -- due to his length. It was time to move up. Since he isn't a year old yet, we needed to find one that would rear-face as well. We installed it, and Camden took his first ride in the new seat on Friday. He looks like such a big boy...as well as acts like it. He felt like such a stud in his new seat...being able to see a lot more on the drives! We think he adapted well.

We all spent Friday at Nana Browder's retirement party. Yep, thats right...she is retiring at the end of this month. Camden is excited as he'll now get to spend Tuesdays with Nana. He will, however, miss hanging out with Aunt Fer Fer, Cousin Ryan, and Gus! Camden enjoyed Nana's party!

On Saturday, Camden got to spend the day with Daddy. Mommy was attending a wedding shower for Cindy, which was conventiently located in our basement. So Camden did get to hang out with the many visitors at his house. But, later that night it was just the boys as Cindy's bachelorette party was the same evening. Camden & Daddy had a good time, and Derek stopped by to hang out as well. Camden must have been wore out because he slept in until 9:00 am on Sunday!!!

This week is going to be hectic. Mommy & Daddy are headed to Las Vegas on Thursday and Camden will be staying with Baa Baa and Nana. Mommy & Daddy are not looking forward to leaving him for a few days, but Camden is really looking forward to playing with Baa Baa and Nana!

Camden also wanted to CONGRATULATE the Purdue Basketball Team for winning the Big Ten tournament title on Sunday!! It was even sweeter beating the Bucknuts for the Championship!! Congratulations Boilers!!!
