We had a pretty busy week last week. The boys helped Daddy get all of the cards and gifts ready for Mother's Day. Mommy had two special days at Camden's school this week where she visited both classes to have muffins & milk (or tea/cookies). The kids also sang to all of the moms, and had a great time!!
On Friday night, the boys got to hang out with Jen Shelton while Mommy and Daddy went to the Brad Paisley concert. The boys had a great time...and we're all tuckered out. Mommy & Daddy also had a great time at the concert....and we're pretty close to the stage!!
Bennett looks like he could take off crawling any minute. He rocks back and forth and will even get up on his tiptoes, but he just hasn't figured it out quite yet. He loves rolling on the floor playing with all of his toys. And he even likes dumping out the buckets of toys and putting the bucket on his head! Bennett turned 8 months yesterday, so we'll be updating with his 8-month pictures soon!
Camden had his last soccer game of the spring season on Saturday. His team played well, as did he....but, no goals this week! This fall, however, Camden has decided to play football instead of soccer. Registration for fall sports closes at the end of this month, and Camden is now registered for flag football!!
Also, Saturday was Rylee's 4th birthday!! Not much excitement out of the ordinary for Rylee, but Camden did pick out a new toy for her!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY, RYLEE!!!
Yesterday, we celebrated Mother's Day and had a great day! We went to Brunch with Baa-Baa and Papa, Aunt Chewy & Uncle Chad, and Aunt Kee & Nun-Nun. All of the kids had a great time! Bennett's favorite highlight was the EXIT sign! He just kept staring at the sign. He is amazed by red lights, we believe. He does the same thing in his room when he is looking up at the video camera.
After brunch, we headed over to Aunt Christy and Uncle Bryan's house to spend the afternoon there. Nana and Grandma Ratts were also there. The boys had a good time there too. Camden was busy riding his bike with the kids (and Daddy, too!). Bennett got a little cranky because he hadn't taken his afternoon nap, but did pretty well overall.
We finished the weekend with the boys taking a bath. Bennett had not been too fond of the bath, but he definitely enjoyed it when his brother was in there playing with him too!!
