Bennett has officially started crawling, and all over the place no less. One of his favorite places to crawl...to Rylee's dog bed. Then, he proceeds to take her toys and try to play with them! He also makes his way to the playroom and enjoys spinning the wheels on the school bus, or finding Camden's random toys on the floor.
Bennett is also very verbal...like his big brother was (actually, still is). He likes to ramble, ooh and ahh, and says "Bahh" (either for bottle, Bennett, or Baa Baa) and "Maa Maa." He hasn't quite figured out Daa Daa, yet! Also, this week he had figured out how to spit/blow bubbles while eating. So, Daddy was treated to a nice ceral/fruit shower earlier this week.
Camden is now a Pre-School graduate! He graduated from Noah's Ark Early Education at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church last Wednesday. It is hard to believe he's headed to Kindergarten in the fall. He enjoyed his time at Noah's Ark, and absolutely loved all of his teachers this year. He will be attending Vaction Bible School (VBS) the week after we return from vacation.
Memorial Day weekend was great...and action packed. This year, the weather was a little on the cool side....which was a welcoming change for the 500 Parade on Saturday and for Daddy at the race on Sunday. Unfortunately, the cool weather wasn't good for Mommy and the Boys who usually spend Sunday in the pool at the club. Babs and Papa had their annual cookout after the race on Sunday.
Everyone had a great time at the Parade. Camden always loves a good parade, and Bennett enjoyed his first one. The Police sirens and the motorcycles at the beginning scared him a little...but he enjoyed most of it after that. He did get all tuckered out and fell asleep at the end of the parade.
Tomorrow we leave for our annual trip to OBX. Camden is off-the-walls excited, and Bennett has no idea what a long car ride feels like. He'll soon find out!!
