Last week, Camden had Kindergarten Roundup. It is hard to believe, but yes, Camden will be attending kindergarten in the fall. So, at kindergarten round up, the kids were able to tour the school, see where they eat lunch, and take a school bus ride. Camden enjoyed it all, and is looking forward to kindergarten when school starts in August. For now, its finishing up Pre-K, and he has less than a month left until Pre-K Graduation.
As we said many times before, Bennett is pretty fond of his big brother. He just looks at Camden and giggles! Camden thinks his little brother is pretty special too, and he has been a great helper "playing" with him.
Bennett loves to roll all over the place too. He thinks he can just go where he wants to go....but then gets mad when he realizes he's not moving. He will get up on his hands and knees and just rock back and forth, but doesn't move. So he just rolls over until he reaches where he wanted to go.
This past weekend we also said good bye to what had previously been known as "the dining room." With oodles and oodles of toys all over the house we decided were finally going to "use" the dining room more often. But "using" it consisted of selling our dining room furniture and moving the overflow of toys. We now refer to our dining room as a "playroom"...to go with the other playroom we have in the basement. Camden has definitely upgraded his "apartment" to a "townhome."
This school bus activity center was a nice addition to our toy collection this week as well! Both boys can enjoy it...and at the same time!!
At school last week, Camden's class greeted the other classes and visitors to their monthly chapel. Daddy went to visit Camden during chapel. Camden's class greeted everyone at the door and also performed some songs during Chapel. Camden was also the representative from his class to turn in the coins they collected all year for the Hoosier Burn Camp.
