Easter Sunday started off early for us....which is not any different than how every other day starts! Camden was the first to rise, just a little after 7am. Bennett followed about 20 minutes later. The boys were surprised to come downstairs to see that the Easter Bunny stopped by and dropped off baskets for the boys. We hurried to get ready for Easter service at Church, since we opted for the early service, after the boys went through their Easter baskets. The earlier service worked better for Bennett's nap schedule....although he only napped maybe an hour total the whole day!
Note Camden Left For the Easter Bunny |
After Church, we went back home and changed clothes to go to Baa Baa and Papa's house for Easter dinner.
Later in the day, back home, we were able to play outside for a bit. Finally...Finally, we had weather above 50 degrees this weekend. While the calendar may say spring, it certainly has not been spring-like.
Earlier in the weekend, we got ready for Easter by visiting with the Easter Bunny and coloring eggs at home.
This week is Camden's spring break. He actually started spring break last Wednesday, and goes through the end of this week. His school had parent/teacher conferences on Wednesday and Thursday. During Camden's conference, his teachers spoke very highly of him. Informing us how helpful, polite, and what a good listener he was at school. We mentioned that behavior, unfortunately, didn't carry over to the home most days!! But, he received great praise and was told he would do great in kindergarten next year.
Bennett is a little ham....literally!!! His personality is developing rapidly now, and loves to smile and laugh. He really gets a kick out of his big brother. Camden can definitely make Bennett smile just by walking by. But, he can get Bennett laughing hysterically just by playing with him.
