First Week - Doctor's Appointments & Camden's Fall Soccer

The first week at home, Bennett has slept plenty!  He is a content baby as long as you are not changing his diaper or he is hungry!  Its been a really great transition for everyone at home.  Camden is doing well helping out.  Baa Baa has been a great help as well.  Coming over every morning since Daddy went back to work to help get Camden ready for school and dropping him off.  Thanks Babs!!

Bennett had 2 doctor appointments this week.  One on Monday (9/17), and another today Friday 9/21.  The first visit was just an after-birth follow up.  All was good at the first appointment.  The appointment today was a more thorough visit.  He weighed in at 7lbs. 5 oz., so not quite up to his birth weight yet.  Bennett has been content after feeding so the doctor was not concerned about his weight.  He said they like to see newborns at or above their birth weight by 2 weeks. 

In the middle of Bennett being born, Camden has also started soccer this fall.  He is having a great time with it.  He is doing very well learning how to dribble the ball.  He is still hestitant to try to "steal" the ball from the opposing players.  He has been taught to share and not take things away...so that is in the back of his mind when being told to do the opposite!  He is enjoying it very much so far.  And its definitely a kick (no pun intended) to watch these little guys play!
