We spent December 4th & 5th in the Windy City for one of Camden's early Christmas presents. Yo Gabba Gabba's "Party in Your City" tour was in Chicago - one of 4 U.S. city stops. They were also had been in NYC, Dallas, & LA. We drove up Friday morning and arrived around noon. We met the Brass' at Shedd Aquarium so the kids could see all the fish, mammals, & other aquatic life. Camden enjoyed seeing the exhibits, but mostly enjoyed hanging out with his cousins Nia & Shane. 
After a fun-filled afternoon at the aquarium, we went out to eat at the Rain Forest Cafe. By this time Camden was pretty wore out, having not napped the entire day. Once we got back to the hotel, he enjoyed running around like a wild man before going to bed. He had another busy day ahead.
Yo Gabba Gabba Live was on Saturday at the Rosemount Theater. Camden was in the second row and had a great view to see all of his favorite characters. He not only was impressed by the show, but he also was interested in looking behind him to see all of the people clapping and cheering once the show began.
Camden's eyes were glued to the stage throughout the entire show. He was clapping and doing his dancy-dances on Mommy's lap. He thoroughly enjoyed the show -- and, surprisingly, so did Mommy & Daddy!!! It was a very good show...and all of the kids had a great time. Camden was wore out and fell asleep just before we got back to the Brass house. He woke up to eat dinner and didn't fall back asleep until we were about 30 minutes from home. He was a trooper throughout the entire weekend, though.
