Visit with Santa Claus & Christmas Pictures

First, we have been getting many questions in regards to Christmas cards -- asking if they have been removed from the list. Yes, we were later than normal getting our Christmas cards out this year. Usually, our goal is to be the first greeting of the season...arriving a day or two after the Thanksgiving holiday. This year we delayed Camden's Christmas pictures, thus creating a delay in sending out our cards. We'll resume our tradition next year!!!

Since Camden no longer gets his pictures taken monthly since his first birthday, this was our first opportunity to get pictures taken while fully mobile. It was much more challenging than just sitting him down and staying stationary. But, overall, he did really well. This was the second effort, however. The first photographer we visited did not work very well with mobile kids, so none of the pictures turned out well. After that fiasco, we went back to a photographer that has worked well with Camden in the past. The pictures were much better, as expected.

Camden also went to the mall to visit Santa Claus. Unfortunately, he didn't care much for Santa this year. But, this is a classic picture and we had to get it. For comparison purposes, his picture with Santa from last year follows.

Here are some pictures just taken around the house. Believe it or not, it was easier to get Rylee to sit (and stay) than it was for Camden. But, finally, we got a good picture. Daddy had to tell Camden he was in timeout just for him to sit for a second!! :)
