Camden did much better throughout the week with his nighttime sleeping. We put up a room-darkening curtain and his bedtime was earlier. This seemed to work well because he would get between 11.5 – 12 hours of sleep each night. So every night was good – until last night! He woke up last night and stayed up for an hour. We’ll see how the rest of the week goes.
Sam came over to stay with Camden on Saturday for a majority of the day. They had a great time playing while Mommy & Daddy were at a wedding. He enjoyed the weather a bit, and then played with all of his toys in the basement. Camden woke up the following morning and his friend, Katie Keefer, was there! We were delighted to have the Keefers stay at our house while in town for the wedding.
Camden experienced new foods (or a new textures of food) this week. He met Baa Baa, Aunt Fer Fer, and Cousin Ryan at McDonalds and had his first taste of French Fries! Also, this week we made smoked sausage with green beans and potatoes. You could tell Camden enjoyed this meal from his greasy fingers! Camden also tried some fried chicken (without the skin). He is getting older, quicker….but we’re still going slow with the new food!
No new news in the crawling department. He continues to rock back and forth, but doesn’t move forward. He will “back-up”, but no forward progress. And he loves to roll. He rolls all over the place…quickly! He will roll one way and then the other way just to eventually get to where he wanted to go. He is funny!!
Speaking of funny...the picture above is where Camden rolled to while playing in the office!!
