As for Camden's sleeping habits, he continued to struggle through nighttime this week. Every night he would wake up and spend at least an hour crying. We were told to let him cry through it and not to feed him. We stuck to that schedule this week. Camden also went to the doctor again this week because he was running a small fever. But he checked out just fine at the doctor.
In the meantime, we put our Scooby-Doo detective skills to the test. We recorded everything Camden ate this week. We also noticed increases in the dry skin patches (some experienced parents may call these rashes) he had. Of course, we are giving him more frequent bathes so it was just a part of that...right? By trying a few different things and keeping track of his eating habits, we determined that he might have some sensitivity to oats/oatmeal. Every day that he ate oatmeal he would wake up in the middle of the night. Each day he ate rice cereal, he did not wake up. It could be that he was "itchy" in the middle of the night and that was keeping him up, but we'll need to continue monitoring this to see if we are indeed on to something. So keep your fingers crossed that we have this figured out!!!
Today, we all ventured over to Aunt Fer Fer's to discuss the upcoming family vacation to Outer Banks. Camden enjoyed playing with his cousins. The Irwins came by as well, so Camden also got to play with Allison and Kaitlyn.
Below are some pictures of the projects we've been working on at the Bailey house. We have our new fence up, and our flagpole. We still need to do some landscaping work and install our storm door. But we are putting all projects on hold next weekend for the Big-Anticpated Thompson wedding!!!
