Big Boy Week

We had a few "big boy" milestones this week for Camden. He was 6 weeks old on Friday, and we celebrated by starting to put Camden to sleep in his crib...or Big Boy bed, as we call it. After a day home with Daddy, we got everything set up -- all blankets removed, video monitor set up, and vent in his room closed. His bedtime routine was still intact. We proceeded as normal with his night time bottle, and then placed him in his crib. He slept great the entire night. He awoke for his regular feedings, but went right back to sleep once he was done. So far, so good with the Big Boy bed!!

Also this week, Camden experienced his first Big Boy bath, opposed to all those sponge/washcloth baths he had while we were awaiting his cord to dry up. He actually enjoyed the majority of the bath -- he did fuss a little, but we think he may have been cold.

Thursday, Camden went to the football fields located right inside our neighborhood to watch another game for his cousin Chase. It was a great game filled with plenty of awesome tackles from Chase. In addition, Camden was able to see Chase score his first touchdown!! Of course, they remained unbeaten!! Camden is really hoping Chase has an undefeated season!!

On Saturday, we had plenty of visitors at the house as many people came over prior to the Kenny Chesney concert. Although Camden didn't get to experience his first concert, he did have a Kenny outfit -- one that was picked out way before his birth!! While Mommy & Daddy went to the concert, Camden got to stay at home with BaaBaa.

Today also marks Camden's cousin, Logan's birthday. He turns 7 today -- HAPPY BIRTHDAY, LOGAN!! Daddy, Mommy, & Camden called Logan to wish him a very happy birthday.
