Allergy Testing

This week we got to experience another round of allergy testing for Camden.  He had previously done some allergy testing when he was 9 months old, but we were recommended to get it done again because of his bad case of eczema.  He had a bad visit to the doctor's office last time where they wanted to do a blood draw to test for allergies.  It wasn't very good as the nurse initially missed the vein for the blood draw.  Well, that episode had a negative impact on a boy who has done very well with shots since birth.  This has carried over...and was very evident during the allergy testing.  He didn't like the idea of getting "stuck" many times to perform the allergy testing.  Even though the "sticking" didn't hurt, he still did not like it!

Anyway, we plowed through the testing.  The results....Of course, were negative.  We just have to treat his eczema with the creams and lotions the doctor originally prescribed.  We did get a stronger ointment, and has been pretty effective.

Bennett is getting very animated while "playing".  He is laughing a lot more, and has a lot of funny faces.  He is very intrigued by his Sock Monkey that sings.
