Gearing up for Christmas

Christmas is right around the corner!!  We had a busy start to the week.  We had brunch with Santa at the Woodland Country Club on Sunday, followed by Camden's (unfortunately, last) pre-school Christmas program.  At least we can look forward to Bennett's Christmas programs at Noah's Ark!

Brunch was great.  The boys were able to visit with Santa after brunch.  Camden got to tell Santa what he wanted for Christmas, but wondered why Mrs. Claus wasn't there with Santa.  He had asked Red, our Elf, if Mrs. Claus could come with Santa to the brunch on Sunday.  Unfortunately, Mrs. Claus had to stay at the North Pole to keep the other elves busy getting ready for Christmas Eve night.

Bennett has been getting bigger and bigger.  He still has consistent fussy times, so we're working to see what may be bothering him.  It is probably either reflux, or a sensitivity to milk...so we're going to work through each of these to see if that helps.  He is a big fan of his big brother.  Anytime Camden is within eye sight, Bennett's eyes are glued to him....probably wondering why he is so loud all of the time!!

Monday night was Camden's Christmas Program.  Since he is in two different pre-school classes this year, he had a double duty in the program.  His first class, The Elephants, did a nativity scene to start the program.  At the end of the program his other class, The Tigers, played hand bells to 'Joy to the World'.  All of the classes concluded the program with Camden's favorite version of 'Joy to the World' and 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas'.  As always, Camden enjoyed his Christmas program and couldn't wait to watch the DVD when it arrived later in the week.  Today is the last day of school for Camden before Christmas break.  He will be out until January 7th.

We would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas!!!
