Merry Christmas!

Its Christmas Eve Eve!! And we're gearing up for all of our Christmas festivities. Camden is looking forward to Santa coming to town! Every morning, Camden gets up and changes the Santa countdown. Also, one of Santa's elves came to visit Camden throughout the month of December. He watches Camden throughout the day and then goes to report Camden's activities to Santa each night. Every morning when Camden wakes up, he is in a new place throughout the house. Camden named this elf, RED. He enjoys looking for Red each morning.

Camden has been battling Pneumonia earlier this month. He was fine, except he was running a slight fever. We monitored the fever for a couple of days and it just wouldn't go away. So, we took Camden to the doctor and they checked his ears, ran a strep test, and ran a flu test. All of these came back negative. So they sent Camden to the hospital for a chest x-ray...and sure enough Camden had pneumonia. He was put on antibiotics, but when
he went for his re-check he was also getting an ear infection. Even though he has been a little under the weather, it hasn't slowed him down one bit. Unfortunately, though, he doesn't get to go play out in the snow until he is 100%!At first we thought Camden was going to miss his first Christmas program at his preschool. But since he was on antibiotics and he had been fever-free for over 24 hours, the doctor said it would be ok for him to attend his program. He had been practicing his songs all month long and it was enjoyable to see him up there with his classmates. During Jingle Bells....his bells actually broke!! The look on his face was priceless! He finally just picked up the broken bells and started shaking them anyway.

Camden's trip to visit Santa was much more enjoyable this year. He was a little hesitant at first, but then got up on Santa's lap. He asked Santa that he would like a "Go Mickey" (aka the new Dance Star Mickey Mouse) for Christmas this year. As we were leaving he hollers out, "Bye Santa, See Ya..." Here are Camden's pictures with Santa over the past three years...This will be classic a few more years down the road!
