We Have A Crawler On Our Hands!!

Camden is now officially crawling...and all over the place!! He started crawling on his own on Monday (5/18/09). He has given up rolling to get places, now he just motors along like he's been doing it for years! And he is pretty quick too! He also has been trying very hard to pull himself up on things and stand up. He will crawl to his old car seat and pull himself up. Also he will use the window ledge -- which we saw him gnawing on today. He even tries to stand up in the middle of the room by keeping his legs stiff and crawling backwards to try and motor on up! He is officially mobile, so we had to put up some gates...or baby jail! He tries to go for the things he can't have -- outlets, surround sound speakers, carbon monoxide alarms, cords/wires, etc. He ended up getting one of the surround sound speakers earlier in the week and it hit him in the head. He knocks his head on things all of the time, yet it doesn't seem to phase him at all.


Memorial Day Weekend marked the neighborhood pool opening. Mommy & Daddy took the boat out on Saturday afternoon while Camden stayed at home and played with Brittney. After boating, we took Camden over to the pool to put his feet in the water. It was sort of cold, so he didn't know what to think. But he wasn't in his swim trunks, so he didn't get in. On Sunday, however, Mommy & Camden went to the pool with Aunt Fer Fer and his cousins to swim while Daddy was at the Indianapolis 500. He got in the pool with Mommy and loved every bit of it! We're now all set for vacation in a few weeks!!!
